The village itself is very welcoming and has some interesting buidings. Locally there are pleasant walks and a small golf course. The owners can also arrange escorted tours to a nearby farm, very interesting and great for children!
Other points of interest are Lerida (Lleida) the provincial capital, dominated by its grand cathedral and Arabic castle walls and the dazzling Aigüestortes National Park in Catalonia.

This location make an ideal base for touring the region with Barcelona and the mediterranean a short drive to the east and Tarragona with its roman ruins to the south, Lleida and Zaragosa with its magnificent cathedral to the west. and of course the stunning Pyrenees and the Valle de Aran to the north.

In the centre of this province just off the main road between Barcelona and Madrid is the small village of Villagrassa and the location of this property 'Cal Faba.' Overlooking an ancient church Cal Faba is an atmospheric stone house which has been tastefully converted into a fully equipped casa rural offering self-catering accommodation for groups of up to ten.

The house just ooses rural charm and has pretty views of the quiet main square and a curious Romanesqe church in front and views of the foothills of the pyrenees from the patio at the rear. Recently refurbished, Cal Faba has 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms a fully equipped kitchen, a games room and interior courtyard with barbeque.
